According to the definition of the United Nations, poverty is the inability to provide for the basic necessities of life, necessary to lead a dignified existence. The Kon Makandra Helping Hands Foundation would like to help people to lead a dignified existence by providing for the basic necessities of life. The primary necessities of life are: clean and drinkable water, food, clothing, housing and healthcare.
Not having access to secondary necessities of life can also be experienced as poverty, especially if others in a society do. Secondary necessities of life include participation in education, sports and other social activities. We would also like to invest in this.
